I am from Latvia and I'm administrator of the Windows2000Server network. I have a problem.
I thing that you can help me.
In the domain "C" was computer named "X".
Then I renamed it to computer "Y".
Now in the domain "C" is two computers - "X" and "Y". I don't understand why!
In the ActiveDirectory - Computers is only new computer - "Y" - there are no computer with name "X". It is O.K. But when I go in the "My network place" - domain "C" I see computers "Y" and "X" too. Why! Now users don't understand what it is - computer "X"! Computer "X" does't in the domain "C".
So, how can I delete this computer "X".
I hope you know how I can delete this "X" because I'm very young administrator, but you are more powerful!
