Как снять ограничение на величину создаваемого файла.По умолчанию в системе наибольший размер создаваемого файла 2Gb.Надо 2.5Gb и больше?

If you need to use files larger than 1GB on an SCO OpenServer system, change the definition of ULIMIT from ``2097151'' to a value of up to ``4194303''. Use the configure(ADM) command to modify the ULIMIT parameter. You can also change the limit imposed by login(M) in the /etc/default/login file. (See ``User and group configuration'' for more information.) The maximum size supported is 2GB.

Так что видимо обломится у вас такое желание. Не умеет Скотинка держать файлы более 2 Гиг.

ULIMIT
Specifies in 512-byte blocks the size of the largest file that an ordinary user can write. The default value is 2097151; that is, the largest file an ordinary user can write is approximately 1GB (one gigabyte). A lower limit can be enforced on users by changing the value of ULIMIT in the file /etc/default/login; see login(M).

The ULIMIT parameter does not apply to reads; any user can read a file of any size.

Тогда как ето понять.Создать не можем а читать можем.Непонятно
