Experience /education /requirements:
University degree. Degree in Computer Science, Maths or Engineering is an advantage.
7+ years of experience in IT industry
3+ years of experience in IT solutions selling & deployment
In-depth experience in security and managing IT infrastructure
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft product line, technologies and business solutions
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft infrastructure platforms (Networking, Windows 2003 Server, Active Directory , ISA Server, MOM Server, SMS)
Experience in planning. design and implementation of sales strategies, partnering experience, and experience in opportunity selling as well as selling in competitive environment to win in
competitive projects.
Good understanding of enterprise computing environments, client server technology, major vendors and products/positioning as well as associated issues.
Broad knowledge of different parts of the sales cycle and technical sales skills as well as post sales support.
Ability to manage large and fluctuating workloads and maintain committed service & customer / partner satisfaction levels. Solid multiple priorities & project/program management whilst retaining flexibility.
Good understanding of partner business models.
Good verbal and written communications skills as well as strong interpersonal skills to professionally represent Microsoft in front of the customer.
Good negotiation and presentation skills, experience in communications / negotiations with decision makers & executives in large enterprise accounts
Dynamic driver, team player. consensus builder
Fluent English (both written and oral)
Responsibilities:
Is responsible for attainment of 100% or more of assigned revenue quota.
Communicates, integrates and implements Microsoft’s strategy among strategically targeted accounts/partners.
Performs product/MS initiatives and technology demonstrations, explains product/technology/initiative benefits to customers.
Develops custom presentations and conducts onsite pre sales training to aid the sales process.
Provides training to sales force and acts as technical mentor to less experienced technical staff members.
Provides technical architectural sales-support of large-scale solutions at strategic enterprise accounts
Assists with proof of concept installation and provides beta and preview programme support.
Articulates Microsoft’s vision, systems and application strategies in order to educate customers about their usefulness within the customers’ environments.
Develop comprehensive technical account strategies for Microsoft corporate accounts.
Monitor competitor programmes/activities and market trends to demonstrate and communicate the advantages and superiority of Microsoft systems and applications, and products.
Deliver Community Development Briefings.
Works with Account Manager to create and close new opportunities.
Works with Account Manager to ensure MS successfully engage competition.
