Job’s Purpose:
- This position is responsible for exceeding CPE, CSI, Growth, and Execution Excellence in accordance with commitments and quota. In conjunction with ATU priorities, services, and Microsoft partners, the SSP Combo develops opportunity identification and engagement strategies for selling solutions to qualified “technical” decision-makers or departmental/business supporting IT technical decision-makers.
- Vertical industry focus (Communication sector) will also be a core competency.
- The SSP understands complex sales opportunity requirements for several customers and leads the development of strategy/plans. He/She also understands and fully engages the virtual account team – including services as an integral part of the solutions sales process.
- The SSP is responsible for revenue goals, effective utilization and management of Business Investment Funds (BIF) budget for infrastructure initiatives. He/she should have knowledge of Microsoft Infrastructure Solutions with a strong business value proposition competence.
- The ideal candidate displays advanced organizational, communication, project management, negotiation, and problem solving skills. He/she displays a strong understanding of enterprise corporate sales needs.
- Previous experience in direct selling of complex infrastructure solutions in the enterprise is required.
Requirements:
- Able to understands migration and coexistence in heterogeneous environments
- Demonstrates an ability to design business solutions utilizing the full suite of Microsoft technologies
- Demonstrates an excellent understanding of Business Decision Sales Cycles and processes appropriately as it relates to delivering Microsoft solutions/products to customers.
- Demonstrates an understanding of agility, scalability, availability, and reliability as it relates to business solutions offerings
- Demonstrates an understanding of the Sales Process components
- Excellently prepares, delivers, and follows-up on assigned tasks and responsibilities.
- Outstanding pipeline creation, sales and pipeline management skills
- The ideal candidate should have a broad background including enterprise-scale solutions architecture and implementation; strategic planning, risk analysis and business justification
- The ideal candidate will have a BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience combined with a minimum of 8-10 years relevant working experience in solution/technical sales and or business solutions
